I just found out about Matt's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss and can't imagine the pain you must be feeling. Matt was one of the first kids at White Pine to befriend my son, Brian. I'm going way back to 2nd grade! Brian was new 2nd semester having just moved to the area. Matt was so accepting, friendly, and fun! We'll remember him always as Brian's first buddy in Boise. Please accept my most sincere and heartfelt condolences.

Matt was a good friend of mine. I didn't know him all his life but as he was a junior and senior in high school, I was two years younger than him and ran track. He was among the first to introduce himself when I was an awkward sophomore. But all Matt ever did was display kindness and a grand sense of humor. He often would drive me home from practice and I remember the 2016 state track meet. Matthew was nothing short of a great guy and even better friend. I am sad to hear this but he will be remembered. I wish the best to his family and all friends of his!

I send my sincere condolences to the entire family. It is so terrible to lose Matthew at such a young age but may the memories that were made with him fill your hearts during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
