Jamie Roberts Obituary
Jamie was a true creator and a "jack-of-all-trades." She was an amazing contractor-skilled in carpentry, electrical work, and masonry-as well as a bouncer, cosmetologist, and LPN. Her hands were as capable in construction as they were in art, reflecting a life filled with diverse passions.
Beyond her work, Jamie had a deep, almost magical connection to nature and animals. She was the only person her family had ever known who could pet bees and never get stung-a testament to her gentle and unique soul.
Jamie is survived by her three children: Josiah O. Roberts-Sisson of Tennessee, James D. Roberts of Tennessee, and her daughter, Deeanna Roberts. She is also survived by her three sisters: Serilda Roberts, her greatest older sister/best friend Christina Bonogofsky (Rob) of Florida, and her lion twin/best friend Leona Roberts-Slater (Josh) of Tennessee; her brother Mikey Tawwater (Alex) of Illinois; her nephews, AJ Bonogofsky and Nathan Presterl; her niece, Annalena Roberts; her father, James Roberts; and many beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Jamie was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnna Tawwater Roberts, her nephew, Colin Presterl, and many other dear family members. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

There isn't a single memory that stands out because every moment with my sister was precious, and there were never enough of them. To truly know her was to know what a warrior she was, with a heart and soul like no other.
While there are four of us sisters, I am so grateful for the close bond she shared with her lion twin and that I was able to stand by her side through absolutely everything-the good, the bad, and the hardest parts in between. Even when others had to walk away. Being there for every step of her journey was the greatest honor of my life. I cannot believe it has ended so tragically, but her strength will stay with us forever." You will never be forgotten and missed everyday.
