He is survived by his wife Kelly Jardine, their children Allyssa, and Coen; daughter Candi Jardine VanHorne, from his previous marriage, her husband Forrest VanHorne, and their two daughters Shayla and Taylor. Hi Kelly:

This is Gene Hill writing from El Centro, California. I am the minister that officiated for you and Mike on June 30, 1984. I just happened to check the Statesman online and knew that the Jardine name was familiar. I checked my records and there you both were. Anyway, I want you to know that my prayers are with you, the children, and all the family. The memories you have will be forever. Live each day the best you can as Mike would want you to live. God bless you and be with you.

I have already missed the conversations and ideas that we shared as neighbors for so many years. I'll always remember Mike as a kind and generous person to everyone around him who never had a harsh word towards anyone. He will be greatly missed as our thoughts and prayers go out to you Kelly, Alyssa, and Coen at this difficult time in life.

We can all be certain though, that Mike is in a Wonderful Place with our Lord.

Please let us know if there is anything at all that we can do.
