Boise, Idaho - Michael Everett Riccardelli, 85, of Boise, Idaho, honorably entered the gates of Heaven on May 25th, 2024. Born on September 19th, 1938 in East Orange, NJ to Joseph Michael and Willie Grace. A faithful Baptist, he grew up in Texas prior to entering the military.

He is survived by his cherished wife Marie (married for 48+ years), sons Dirk (Angela), Michael, Sean (Barbie), and Nicholas (Linda); daughter Tina, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving "little sis" Nancy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Willie, brothers Joseph and Donald, sister Pamela, and son Frank.

Michael enlisted in the US Marine Corp at the age of 17 and served our country honorably for 30 years. He was a highly decorated Marine having served 3 combat tours in Vietnam and earning the highest enlisted rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. He was quite the military historian and in progress of writing his own documentary in the years preceding his departure. "Top" lived life to the fullest and was as much a leader after retirement as he was during his military career. Immediately following his service, he donated much of his time helping young kids find meaningful work and career guidance. He loved to camp, fish, and hunt with his buddies, kids, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family during all the holidays, birthdays, and special events. Anytime there was a poker game, he was the first to arrive, and all in! Semper Fidelis and "Oohrah Marine!"

A service, with full military honors, will be held in his honor on June 3rd, 2024 at Coverdale Funeral Home 1200 N Cloverdale Rd., Boise, ID 83713: Viewing begins at 10:00 am. Service at 11:00. Graveside honors at 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held immediately following graveside services from 1-3 P.M.
