Millie was born November 5, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Jacob and Anna Gorchov. Millie had three sisters; May, Fay and Freda and one brother, Sydney. She married Charles R. Nunes. Together they worked as self employed photographers and produced church directories. They enjoyed breeding, raising and showing Chinese Pugs. They were very active with golden gloves amateur boxing in the Treasure Valley for many years. She is survived by her son and his wife, Wayne and Angeline of Sacramento, California; grandsons and their wives, Scott and Angie Nunes and children Crissa, Cori and Dylan of Nampa; Bryan and Johnel Nunes and children Nathan, Blake and Ashley of Nampa; David and Misty Nunes and children Marissa and Cameron of Nampa; granddaughter, Michele Nunes of Sacramento, California; and former daughter-in-law, Sharon Gonzales of Nampa. She is also survived by her sisters; Fay and Freda, and brother, Sydney, all three of whom still reside in the Philadelphia area. Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her parents and her sister, May Schwartz. Millie has resided at Canyon West Health and Rehabilitation Center of Caldwell since December 2008, where she loved socializing and playing bingo. Her greatest joy was spending time with her 8 great-grandchildren. Millie was often described as having lots of "spunk" with her long painted nails and updo's. She was a lady that could always bring a smile to your face and she was very giving. Her favorite saying was "If you don't ask, you don't receive".
