Pamela Jennings Obituary

Pamela Jo (Barton) Jennings Pamela Jo (Barton) Jennings passed away on March 6, 2008 at the age of 61 after a 14- month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband Rick S. Jennings (originally from Paul, Idaho, son of Betty and Bill W. Jennings) and her children: Cynthia Nelson-Robinson and husband Cliff Robinson, Natalie Nelson and Jamie Jennings. Pam also had two step-children Corrine Fiedler and husband Jeff and William Jennings and wife Keasha. Pam had five beautiful grandchildren: Olivia Robinson, McKahl, Sydney, and Cameron Kronmiller, and Caitlin Fiedler. She was also the sister of Gary, Joann, and Kim Barton. Pam was born in Lewiston, Idaho in 1946, the daughter of Faith Martin Miller and Leonard Miller. Her mother Faith later remarried Bob Barton. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1965 and Boise Jr. College in 1967. She became the former wife of Tom Nelson. Pam lived in Boise and later returned to Lewiston. In 1984, she married Rick and returned to Boise and later settled in the North Spokane Region. Pam spent the last two years back in Boise, spending precious time with her family, friends and grandchildren. Pam began her working career as a telephone operator. She then held a number of positions in the financial industry, followed by a lot of fun years as a bartender and restaurant owner. She was most proud of her work as a foster mother to over 30 teenage girls in recent years, whose lives she touched as she nurtured and guided them in her special way. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Zuckerman, his staff and everyone at MSTI. Anyone who knew Pam appreciated her fabulous sense of humor and contagious laugh which she maintained until the end. You couldn't help but feel good when you were with her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. "You are in our hearts forever."

Pam was such a delightful person to know--I only wish we had met under different circumstances. She always had a laugh at something and I heartily enjoyed the times I got to take care of her...
