Raymond Littlefield Obituary

Raymond Bennion Littlefield
10/23/43 to 10/21/17
Raymond B. Littlefield was born 10/23/43 in Salt Lake City, UT to Burel and Beth Littlefield. His family moved to Boise when Ray was a sophomore and he graduated from Borah High School in 1962. He was a star football player, state wrestling champion, very well liked, and an excellent student. Ray had life long friends in Boise who were always very loyal to him.
Ray earned his Bachelor of Science Degrees in Zoology and Entomology from the University of Utah in 1966.
Ray married Diane Smith in 1965 and they had three sons. They divorced in 1971.
Ray graduated from the University of Idaho School of Law in 1970 and he practiced law in Boise, Idaho until his retirement.
We are sad to announce that Ray died as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
He leaves behind two sons, The Rev. Jeffrey B. Littlefield of Beaverton, OR and Dr. Eric W. (Kris) Littlefield of Longview, WA, two grandchildren, and two sisters, Sue (Frank) Hammer of Draper, Utah and Evonne Davis of Boise, ID.
Ray was preceded in death by his son Edward Theodore Littlefield, his brother Jim Littlefield, and his parents.
A memorial service at Morris Hill Cemetery will take place later in the spring.

While attending the University of Utah, Ray was
a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
I was also a Phi Delt and admired Ray for his intelligence and athletic ability. He was a great friend and brother in the bond.
Please accept my sincere condolences. God Bless.

I feel so bad about Rays passing. The Littlefield family lived next
door to us when they first moved to Boise. I enjoyed knowing all the
kids. Ray and I were in the same class at Borah High. I knew Diane
from school also. She was a great person. My Mom worked for Mr.
Littlefield at his hearing aid business. I last saw Ray and visited with
him at our 50th class reunion. Ray, was a great guy and always friendly.
Will always remember the family. My prayers are with you all.
