Bob played his final round of golf with good friends on July 11, 2016. He enjoyed a beautiful morning at his favorite golf course, joked with friends, and then finished his life on the 18th hole. He wouldn't tell you he was a great golfer, but his friends and family knew him to be so. We all honor that the final chapter of his life was spent where he was happiest—out on the course with his treasured friends. Bob navigated many successes throughout his life—talented athlete during his formative years in Tacoma, Washington, proud Washington State University Business graduate, Phi Delta Theta fraternity president, WSU football player, Air Force serviceman to his country, successful businessman, community volunteer, loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
Bob is survived by his family, including his children, Robert (Pam Hajj) Hoskins, Holli (Gerry Sutton) Hoskins, Annie (Larry) Correia; grandchildren, Julie Correia, Michelle Correia, Rebecca Hoskins, Bobby Hoskins, and Rachel Hoskins. Bob is also survived by his extended family of friends and golfers, too numerous to name and to whom Bob's family will be forever grateful.
True to Bob's nature, he wished for there to be no funeral service honoring his remembrance. In lieu of a service, there will be a gathering of Bob's dear friends and family at a future date to be determined. Donations in his honor may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, a youth golf program, or the organization of your choice. We will miss his humor, humble nature, and classic gentleman character. Bob's family will always cherish, embrace, and share the life he lived.
