Robert W. Howell

On Jan. 27, 2009 Robert W. Howell passed away in Yuma, Ariz. of natural causes. Memorial services will be held at Idaho Veterans Cemetery on May 1, 2009 at 3 p.m. He was born June 14, 1932 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He married Doris V. McNinch Nov. 17, 1951. He joined the United States Air Force in 1952. He was very proud of his 20 year career in the Air Force often seen wearing his "Vietnam Vet" hat. Most of his career was spent at Mountain Home AFB, which included two years in Vietnam, one year in Morocco. He then became a Boise business owner of Minuteman Printing. In 1987 he was employed by American Business Forms before full retirement in 1994. Bob loved the nine years they spent traveling in their 5th wheel before settling down for the winters in Yuma, Ariz. and summers in Caldwell, Idaho. He was proud of his wife of 57 years, three children Robert R. Howell wife Lola, Ronald L. Howell, wife Jodi, Susan L. Gaythwaite husband Ritchie. He adored his seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
