Russell Alan Bridges 10/13/1981-6/6/2025 passed away in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his mother Alison, father Thomas Arthur Bridges III, sister Kellie Consuela Bridges, brother Thomas Arthur Bridges IV, brother Scott Andrew Bridges, niece Niala Nahima Jackson, nephew Jamari Anthony Jackson, Cousin Dave Karl White and Brayden Christopher Gazlay. He is pre-deceased by brother Eric Anthony Bridges. Russell was an energetic, fun-loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, military veteran, community volunteer, college graduate, and committed employee.

He would always light up the room with his contagious laughter, compassionate attitude, and never-ending adventurous personality.

His passion was longboarding, bicycling, snowboarding all over Idaho, rock climbing, and attending music events, while always surrounded by his large group of friends.

A year 2000 graduate of Grand Junction High School in Colorado, he served 7 years in the Air Force as an A-10 weapons loader in Tucson, Arizona, Kuwait, South Korea, and Mountain Home, Idaho, and became a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

He lived in Boise for 15 years, graduating from Boise State University Environmental Studies. Russell spent over ten years volunteering at Radio Boise in fundraising and community outreach, and also hosted a comedy radio show at the station, worked for Flatbread Pizza, as well as Bogus Basin Mountain Resort.

A celebration of his life will be held at Veterans Memorial Park at 1 p.m. on October 11, 2025.
