Sharon Gallivan Obituary

Sharon Gallivan

February 14, 1954 - September 8, 2024

Boise, Idaho - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Grace Gallivan, who passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024. Born on February 14, 1954, she brought love and warmth into the lives of everyone who knew her. A faithful member at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Sharon lived her faith every day, always offering kindness, support, and prayer to those around her. She was a dedicated scholar, graduating with honors from Boise State University in 1993 with a perfect 4.0 GPA. After graduation, she spent much of her professional life working as a paralegal, where her precision and care were evident. In her free time, Sharon pursued her love of photography, capturing the beauty of the world through her lens. She had a deep affection for her beloved standard poodles, who were constant companions and brought her much joy. She is survived by her children, Chris (wife Cheri, and granddaughter Naomi) and Ryan (wife Laura, and grandson Drew); her brother Danny Allen and his wife Frances; her sister Sandi Albritton and her husband Tony; her brother-in-law Dave Gallivan and his wife Jann; her sister-in-law Karen Holmquist and her husband Jim; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gallivan, and her parents Don and Lois Allen. A memorial service will be held on September 21, 2024 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 704 E Denver St, Caldwell ID 83605, at 9:00am with a short grave side service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St Lukes Cancer Institute or Fuzzy Paws Rescue. We look forward to the day we will see her again. The white rose waits no longer.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Aunt Shari would always put Jesus first and her family 2nd. She loved to read her bible on a daily basis. I can remember that when anytime we came over she would always have a smile on her face no matter how she was feeling. Aunt Shari loved her poodles that was her favorite thing to wake up and see the amazing creations that God had made that she was able to have in her home. Anytime that she was happy she was sing " You are my sunshine my only sunshine. We miss yoou with great love and memories in our hearts.

She was an amazing Aunt and we would go see her every year for thanksgiving and she would be laughing all the time and then we all would uncontrollably laugh along with het.

Having known Sharon as a young lady and young mother, and her father, Pastor Don Allen, for many years, my wife and I send godly greeting and the hope of Titus 2:11-13! Now an 85-year-old evangelist to India--for 13 years, I am not in contact much with American Brethren! For her family we offer only the encouragement of Jesus' soon coming, and all of our meeting together again! Romans 10:9-10
