Shirley Cullip Obituary

Shirley Cullip

March 22, 2025

Meridian, Idaho - Shirley Ann (Scott) Cullip, 65 of Meridian, ID passed away March 22, 2025. She passed peacefully at home with family by her side after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Shirley is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rodney Cullip; Son, Christopher Cullip; Daughter, Tiffany (Cullip) Able; Grandchildren: Blake Cullip, Jocelyn Cullip, Katelyn Able & Tyler Able; Sisters: Betty (Scott) Flaherty, Gerri (Scott) Bishop, & Fern (Scott) White.

Shirley grew up in Payette, ID and moved to Meridian, ID. She graduated from Meridian High School, married Rodney, her high school sweetheart & soulmate in June 1978. Shirley and Rod have had a very fulfilling life with their children, lots of hard work and lots of fun camping, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, atv/motorcycle riding and running their ranch together. Shirley worked at Sears for 10 yrs then at Albertsons Corporate for 35 yrs. Shirley was an amazing person and will be greatly missed. Words to describe her; most would say sweet, nice, kind, but if you truly knew her you would also say, strong, fierce, the only one to keep up with her husband Rod.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Shirley at Julius M. Kleiner Park, shelter B-1 on June 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Friends and Family welcome.
