Stanley Hitesman Obituary

Stanley L. Hitesman 1943-2011 Stanley L. Hitesman, died on June 2, 2011, from complications of heart disease. He was born September 23, 1943, in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. Stan was the oldest boy out of nine children. Stan grew up in various cities across Idaho. In 1961, Stan met the love of his life Shirley Morgan. On April 28, 1964, they were married in Jerome, Idaho. They spent their early years living in Salmon, Idaho. Their 47 years of marriage included their three children, Jeff, Jerry, and Kim. The great outdoors was one of Stan's greatest past times. Camping, fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling were all of his great loves. In 1999, Stan, Shirley, and Jeff moved to Boise, Idaho, to be closer to Jerry's and Kim's families. Moving to Boise Stan took part in the daily lives of his beloved grandchildren, Todd, Raelene, Angela and Danielle. Stan touched the lives of his grandchildren in ways that can't be explained. Stan is survived by his wife Shirley, son Jeff, son Jerry (Belinda), and daughter Kim Schelhorn (David). Grandchildren Todd and Raelene Hitesman, Angela Schelhorn, and Danielle McDonnell (Derrick). Brother Dick (Bert Spangenberg, and extended Boise family The Bowcutt's. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 6th at 1 p.m. at Granite Mountain Cemetary,Gibbonsville, Idaho.
