Steve Davis Obituary

Steve Davis passed away, 0ctober 22, 2010, after a long battle with cancer in Kuna, Idaho. Steve was born March 18, 1941 in Idaho Falls, Id., the son of the late Wesley and Evalyn Davis. He attended Wasatch Academy and graduated from Ririe High School in 1959. He also attended University of Idaho then enlisted in the US. Navy and served in the Silent Service aboard the USS Tinosa (held plank) and trained with the crew of the USS Thresher. He received a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Western University. Following the Navy, Steve moved to S. California to work in Aero-Space with Lear Siegler and then Litton Guidance Systems (30 years) upon which he retired in 2000. He moved from Salt Lake City to Boise in 2003. He married in 1970 and had one son. Later divorced, he married Ruth Blades in 1989. Steve is survived by his wife, Ruth Davis of Kuna; son Shane Davis of Valencia, Ca; step daughter Daisy Blades Hughes of Sacramento; brother Jeffery H. Davis of Boise; step- mother Eliza Davis of Ririe, Idaho.
