Susan Jackson Obituary

Susan M. Jackson
May 4, 1958 -
October 23, 2016
Sue passed away peacefully in her sleep at her sister, Cheryl K. Jackson's, home after a long illness.
She was born in Omaha, NE. In 1963, moved from NE to CA. 1970 moved from California to Idaho. She fell in love with and married Gregory B. Englesby. They divorced and she never remarried. They had two daughters, Angela R. Walsh and Jenifer L. Englesby. Six grandchildren: Justin Walker, Devon Burhop, Selah Hartwell, DeLynn Englesby, Brandon Walsh and Daxton Englesby.
Sue was preceded in death by her only brother, Ricky Abbott; mother, Shirley Sundles; and sister, Becky Skidmore. Survived by Angela (Shane) & kids, Jenifer (John) & kids. Sisters: Donna Abbott, Cheryl Jackson and Cindy Kempke (& family). Also her nieces and nephews, whom she adored: Mike and Dave Diaz, Christina Jackson & kids, Sarah Griego (Tiffany), Melinda Jackson (Tessa & kids), Jentzen Alldrich and her dog, Mindy.
I sit in reflection as I ponder these two dates and how little they both mean compared to the tiny dash that lies in between. The dash serves as an emblem of our time here on the Earth, and although small, it stands for all our years, from birth. We have a choice each day. We can fill our dash with goodness, or waste our life away. To ourselves, as well as others, let's be honest, kind and true. Live every day the way God wants us to.
We are thankful for her friendship in our lives. We love her and will miss her greatly. We believe her death is a celebration of a new beginning. No service will be held, we will plant a tree in honor. In lieu of flowers, please donate to COPD research.
