Amy, I was so sorry I could not attend the service today, I'm sure I would have heard more stories and examples of your Mom's full & giving life. What a blessing for you to have been able to travel these last few months with her at the end of her journey. Peace, my friend.

Although, I never met Mrs. Loomis, I do know her daughter Amelia and husband, Jim. After reading her obituary,I knew immediately what a great woman she was. How?
I had an aunt Bibby that lived a very similar life until she passed away @ 99 years in Russell Springs, KY; the home of my mother's family. Just honest to good people. Our hearts go out to you Amelia & Jim.

Our experience with Sybill and her children over the past thirty years has been wonderful and we treasure it very much. We just read her poetry book while visiting Don/Rex in palm springs. She was multi-talented and a truly committed Mother. Our hearts and thoughts are with you all. Much love, Conrad and Hank

Never meeting your mom I felt I met her through you. You are strong, determined, kind and connected to God...all the things I am hearing about her on these pages. She lives on in and from you...that is a great legacy from her to you...now to honor her legacy just keep being a refelection of the many ways she instilled herself in you and that is so much a part of all the ways she encouraged you to fly-becoming all that you are and shall be as you continue to soar/ Blessings to you and your family.

Sybill was a huge gift in my life. Coming across the street for a fun lunch, having a lovely formal....she made me a flocked pink chiffon, my Sophmore year and a white dotted swiss my Senior year..watching you, Rex and you, Amelia Beth become teenagers was special.
And your mom's values were much in my thinking as I left Donnelly and made choices at the College of Idaho; even unto this day.
Thank you for sharing your Mom a wee bit with me. My love in abundance to each of you.

It was a privilege for me for Sybill to call me her Pastor. Her demonstration of Love to me and my family will always have a place in my heart. The scripture that comes to mind is Psalms 116:15 - Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
