Tabitha Thomas Obituary

Tabitha "Stormi" Thomas Tabitha "Stormi" Thomas, 15, of Boise, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2007 at home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2007 at Treasure Valley Baptist Church, 1300 S. Teare Ave., Meridian, Idaho 83642. Burial will follow at Cloverdale Memorial Park. Stormi was born Oct. 30, 1991 in Caldwell, Idaho to Tim and Tamara (Salisbury) Thomas. Stormi attended Meridian Middle School and Vallivue High School. She enjoyed snowboarding, hunting, camping, archery, shopping and being with friends and family. Stormi was very close to her family. Stormi attended church and brought her friends every Sunday and Wednesday. She received Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age. Her mother led her to the Lord in a parking lot one morning, and oh what a wonderful day that was. We know now for a fact that she in heaven, because of the promise given to us in God's Word. She was the best sister and daughter anyone could ever ask for. When she walked into a room and saw you, she would light up and when she smiled she would make all of life's' troubles seem as if everything was better again. We are looking forward to seeing her in heaven. Tabitha is survived by her dad, Tim Thomas of Boise; mother and step dad Tami and Chad Burns of Caldwell; brothers Titus Thomas of Pensacola, Fla., T.J. Thomas of Nampa, Idaho, William Burns of Caldwell, Idaho; also survived by grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandpa Salisbury and her great-grandparents.

Stormi,
You're such an amazing girl and I will never forget you. I couldn't even if I wanted too, which I don't. You were and still are my very first real best friend. You made me feel like I was special and deserved to be treated as such. We always said that we were sisters, but we are sisters that's how close we got. We only knew each other for a short time but in that time we grew closer then I could've ever imagined. I know that you're up there watching over me, over all of us. You're my best friend, my sissy, and I love you with my whole heart. I miss you. There isn't a say that goes by that I'm not thinking of you and mom and chad and our little brother. My family misses you and loves you. Tami I miss you so much and I hope someday we will be in contact again. I love you guys and I think of you always!!

Until we meet again princess!
I love you sissy-bug!

Wow. I'm shocked. I am keeping the family in my prayers. I didn't know Stormi very well, just saw her and talked to her a little bit when she picked up her little brother from day care. My heart goes out to her family.

Stormi was a great kind person.
She was the only one who would really talk to me during my first couple days at school. Then we played basketball together in 7th grade. She was on my team and she was one of the only ones who was nice then too. Then Last year at the Fire Cracker is when I really got to know her well. We [[Stormi, Peyton, Kelsie, and I]] all slept in Peyton's tent that weekend. We kinda got ourselves in a bit of trouble too :]. Then this year at the CMN we had lots of water fights, rode on four-wheelers and drove through the mud. Ha we were all covered in it :] Then we danced and it was alot of fun.
Then at the Fire Cracker, the last time I ever saw Stormi. We swam in the crick, played dark tag, and drew in the dirt.. and also threw the dirt at each other. :] It was fun and i'm very happy to have been able to have stormi as a part of my life.
I will miss her and I will always wish I could have gotten to know her better. Shell bein my heart forever as with Her mom, step-dad and little brother. I wish them the best.

Wow I remember the first day I met Stormi. We were both sitting alone in the soccer field watching someone we cared about. We looked over at each other and instantly we clicked. We started to talk and found out we both had a lot in common. Even though we just met we took out are picture phones and took a million pictures together. Turned out we both had the same phone too. Ever since then ill walk in the hall way at school and every time I walked by she would always give me a hug. She was a great girl and ill remember her always

Stormi was an amazing person. I met her this year at school, she just walked up to me one day in the lunch room and said, "hi I’m Stormi, I’m your friend ok," while I was talking to a few of our friends. She was always happy and when ever I saw her. She would have the biggest smile you can think of on her face and she would run up and hug me. I’m going to miss her so much. One of my favorite memories of her was at lunch and we would build towers with our plates and milk, and make up ridiculous songs, and pick out the “good looking” guys. I always remember her always asking for a tater tot. The last time I talked to her was at the speedway, she was so pretty and happy like always. She was a wonderful girl full of happiness and life. She was only in my life for a small time and we weren’t extremely close, and I still miss her more than anything. I couldn’t imagine what her family is going through. You are all in my prayers, and I hope the best for you. I love you and miss you so much Stormi. God bless you and your loved ones.
