Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of knowing Virgil as both a Boise Police Officer and as a Court Security Officer in the Federal Building. Virgil was always the guy with a smile on his face and he had a really wicked sense of humor around those who knew him well. Elizabeth and I want the family to know how much his friendship and professionalism came across to those around him. The world is a lesser place without him. Jim and Elizabeth Benham, Boise, Idaho

Officer Brown will be forever a part of my high school memories in the early '80's. He made the difference in a lot of young people's lives. My thoughts are with the Brown family.

I had the pleasure of knowing and loving Virgil. He was one of a kind. I worked with him at the Federal Building where he was loved by everyone. Our hearts go out to Barbara and her family. It was a sad day when we heard of Virgil's passing, it has left an empty place in our hearts. I'm sure Virgil is in heaven watching baseball games with his son Nick. Of course, with the best seats in the house. May God Bless you and help you through these difficult times. I hope it helps you to know that Virgil left a lasting impression on all of us. We love you, Virgil.

I had the pleasure of being a student at Capital High while Virgil was the SRO. Luckily, all my interactions with him were good. Virgil was always well liked and very approachable as our school resource officer. To Virgils family; you should be proud. He was a great man and touched MANY lives and made a difference in our community.
Blessing and peace during this difficult time.

What a great role model. I knew him when I was young and had the pleasure to work with him for 13 years as a Police officer. He was also one of my Mothers favorite people. What a great pleasure to be around. He was one of the good guys for sure. Bless your family. Jeff Blanc

I had the pleasure to know Virgil from the mid 1970's as an officer with the Boise Police Department and later in his work at the Federal Building in Boise. Virgil was an enthusiastic worker, well liked, and outgoing. While Virgil was at Capital High my family and I saw him often at various activities. I was proud to introduce Virgil to my family members and he was receptive to all. A fine man, an example for all to emulate.
