Wayne Luke Obituary

Wayne Luke
October 11, 1934 - January 24, 2019
Our father and grandfather, Wayne Luke passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at a local care center.
Wayne was born October 11, 1934 in Nebraska, then lived a short time in California where he graduated from Boise High in 1953. He was active and excelled in sports of all types while in school.
He joined the Marines after high school and was assigned to Korea during the conflict.
Upon his return from Korea he met and married Pauling Jones. They had three children: Tracy, Mike and Vikki.
Wayne had many occupations including; policeman, ownership in a few bowling alleys and a Cessna dealership. He also worked for Jerry Inglis Coin Machine Service.
His passion was hot rods. He spent many evenings at Show 'n Shine and car events at local drive-ins.
Dad is survived by us; Tracy (Carolyn), Mike (Dicksie), Vikki Spitzler (Gary) and grandson Austin Spitzler (Amanda).
Dad didn't want any final services, so we say, "We love you Dad, Godspeed".
Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel where an online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com

I had the pleasure of working with Wayne at Jerry Inglis Coin Machine Svc. Co. We shared stories of flying, cars and just good times. I'll always have found memories of Wayne. RIP
