Anthony Michael “Tony” Mitchell 1983-2015
32, of Navarre, passed away quietly but very unexpectedly, at his home on Tuesday evening, Oct. 13, 2015. Born in Massillon, June 21, 1983, a beloved son to Deanna (Sheets) Mitchell and Scott (Kristy) Mitchell, Tony graduated from Fairless High School with the Class of 2001. While at Fairless he was a member of both the football and wrestling teams and was active in scouts. More recently he had come to enjoy the game of golf and was also an avid movie fan. He worked as a shift supervisor at Brewster Cheese in Brewster. He loved his family and friends very much and was always happiest in their company.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth D. and Margaret T. Sheets; Rocky Mitchell and Doris Jean Sees, and a nephew, Jonathan Mallady; Tony is survived by his parents; sisters, LaDonna Shackle (Brad Nave) and Nikki Mitchell, all of Canton and brother, Christopher (Shelli) Mitchell, of Columbus; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Betty Mitchell, of Navarre; five nieces; two nephews and beloved friends, especially Sarah and Mallory Crawford and his faithful dog, Buster.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Navarre. Pastor Mike Husted will officiate and burial will follow in Union Lawn Cemetery. The family will welcome guests THIS evening, Oct. 19, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Tuesday afternoon from 12-1:00 p.m. To sign our on-line guestbook, please visit:
