Fred Unkefer Obituary
Age 77, of Minerva, died Wed. Nov. 25, 2015. He was co-owner and operator of Lincoln Street Salvage and New Image Motors Inc. in Minerva and had owned the Sunrise Feed Mill. He is a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church, a 1957 graduate of Minerva High School, lifetime member of the BPOE Elks Club #467 in Alliance and a member of the Atwood Yacht Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne (Boyd) Unkefer with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on Dec. 18, son, Matthew Unkefer of Minerva, two nieces, Megan Lynch and Rebecca Kanney. He is preceded in death by a brother, Jarrett Unkefer.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva United Methodist Church or the Stark County Humane Society.
