Iris Tinlin Obituary
86, of North Canton, Ohio and Dunedin, Fla., died June 27, 2011 at Hospice of Brookside surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Fredericksburg, Ohio to Glenn and Alta Brown and was Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tinlin; grandsons, Bob Rukavina and Aaron Tinlin; and sister, Doris Adams. She is survived by daughter, Ann Best of Dunedin, Fla; son, Dr. Thomas and Cheryl Tinlin of Scottsdale, Ariz; and daughter, Denise and Michael Moxie of Rome City, Ind; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her.
As an entrepreneur in the 1960s and 1970s, Iris owned numerous Hair Salons. After her retirement from that profession, she embarked on a career of owning and operating numerous restaurants in the North Canton, and Canton, Ohio area, as well as Dunedin, Fla. At one time, she had joint ownership of seven restaurants with her family members that she helped to get started in the restaurant business. Because of her there are so many that have benefitted from her business knowledge and generosity. To her, family was extremely important. She enjoyed the art of the deal, whether it was in business or life, she was a gambler in all senses of the word.
Friends may call to offer condolences from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on July 9, 2011 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Committal service and burial will be immediately following at North Lawn Cemetery.

Dear Ann,Tom & Denise and your families. You have my most heart felt sympathy. I admired and loved your mom, she was like a second mom to me. Time goes by and we dont't get to see each other and then it is to late. Dear Family,
