Ronald Pahlau Obituary

Ronald Jeffrey Pahlau
Ronnie was born in Barberton, Ohio, on May 11, 1961, to Richard Lee Pahlau (Sr.) and Judith Ann (Stermer) Pahlau. He graduated from Northwest High/ R.G. Drage J.V.S. in 1979. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other field sports. He loved dogs and always had well-trained and well-behaved canine friends He loved classic rock & roll, especially Led Zeppelin. Though he never married or had children, he loved little kids. Ronnie died on Jan. 14, 2014, at the age of 52, of complications following vascular surgery at Akron City Hospital.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Paul and Margaret Pahlau and Melvin and Dorothy Stermer; parents, Richard and Judith Pahlau; and many beloved dog buddies, including Rowdy the wiener dog, Cain, Brandy ('Aunt B'), and Mister Crawley. He is survived by, and will be missed by, his brother, Richard Pahlau (Jr.); sister, Susan Hunter; sister-in-law, Randi Pahlau; adopted mother-in-law, Inger Klaber; uncle, Bill and aunt, Sally Eshelman, aunt, Sandra Hall, and several cousins.
There was a small memorial service at the burial site in the Manchester/New Franklin Cemetery at 1030 West Nimisila Road, New Franklin, Ohio, officiated by Pastor Don Rohrbacher, on Friday, Jan. 17.
