Wendy M. Hayes, age 52, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026 after a sudden and brief illness, her daughter holding her hand.
She was born on July 19, 1973 to Robert and Phyllis (Sarver) Wilson. She was a 1991 graduate of Perry High School.
Wendy's favorite holiday was Christmas. You were most likely to find her watching Elf on repeat from Thanksgiving to Christmas. She enjoyed shopping, especially her Coach purses, and anything from Bath and Body Works. She was a very caring person and tried to help people in any way she could. She was willing to take people in and became a mother figure for several individuals.
Wendy joins her grandparents, Martha (Thompson) Sarver and Robert and Ruby (Sicklesmith) Wilson. She is survived by her daughter Mikayla Hayes, parents Robert and Phyllis Wilson, sister Jennifer Johnson (Adam), and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
