Anne Schwert Radnor, age 77, was with her family when she passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Buffalo, NY on January 11, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Schwert and the late Jean Lattimer Schwert. She was a graduate of Hamburg High School and attended USC. She worked as a loan officer at Perpetual Savings & Loan for many years. She retired from Belk's Department Store where she worked at the Prescriptives Cosmetics Counter and later in Ladies Clothing. Anne was an active and beloved member of Grace Episcopal Church for over 50 years. She was active in the Grace Church Soup Kitchen of Anderson, the Alter Guild, St. Elizabeth's Guild, she was a founding member of the SOTS and was a volunteer with the Anderson County Library.

She is survived by her loving children, Jean Rutledge, David Thomas Rutledge, William "Bill" Edward Rutledge (Ashley) all of Anderson, SC; Step-sisters, Joy Arnold, of Tampa, FL, Jan Sherman, of Golden, CO, Judy Hathaway, of Winter Park, FL; and two grandchildren, Emily Marie and Turner Wilson Rutledge.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wilson Rutledge.

A celebration of life service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. with The Reverend John B. Hardaway, IV officiating.

The family will receive friends at The Morris Parlor of Grace Episcopal prior to the service on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The family sincerely thanks The Garden House Staff and Hospice of the Upstate for the wonderful care shown to Mrs. Radnor.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal, 11 South McDuffie Street, Anderson, SC 29624; Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621; or to Anderson Area Parkinson's Group, 113 Creekwalk Drive, Anderson, SC 29625.
