Dear Beth, Judy, Aunt Margaret, and all of our family:
My memory has been flooded with the fondest of memories of Uncle Artie and childhood events. Ironic that we heard of his health difficulties and passing as we were vacationing with our children, visiting family in North Carolina and Tennessee. Childhood is such a short part of our lives, but the memories are life-long. Artie was a great uncle and gracious host for many summer trips down to Savannah. I will always treasure those memories of Christmases and Thanskgivings, summer oyster and crab boils and even camping and going to the beach.
I wish you and the family all good thoughts and peace during this time of loss, but I want you to always know how happy and fun my memories are. Even when he and Dad argued about Chryslers and Cadillacs... it was funny. I'm so sorry that there was no way for us to make that journey with so little preparation time. Please know that we are all there with you in spirit, and you are all in our prayers.
Love,
Brian

Judy and Family,
My love and prayers are with you all at this time. My Dad Passed in January and I am sure that he and your Dad are strolling Heaven's streets... and are just getting started on the Eternity they both lived for. Remember, MOURNINGS on Earth are temporary...MORNINGS in Heaven are eternal. We will see them again in the MORNING.

I remember Artie from our days at Commercial High School, graduating class of 1946. He was from Garden City and I was from Port Wentworth. Commercial High School was at that time a relatively small segment of the high school population.
