"Marshall" Douglas Cole
ANDERSON - "Marshall" Douglas Cole, 72, husband of Judy Parnell Cole of 501 Broadway Lake Rd. went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 7, 2010 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Styles N. and Avis V. Dalrymple Cole. He was a member of River of Life Church of God formerly (McDuffie Street Church of God).
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: daughter, Mysti Ballard and husband Marty of Anderson; granddaughter, Marisa Ballard; sister, Nancy Webb of Belton.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chad Cole; brothers, Bill Cole and Monroe Cole; sisters, Mary Stone and Alice Williams.
Service will be conducted 11am Wednesday at River of Life Church of God with Pastor Kevin Jones and Pastor Ken Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday from 9:30am until 10:45am at River of Life Church of God.
Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association @ P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312.
The family will be at the residence.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Judy, Mysti and family. I am so sorry to hear about Marshall's passing. He was a great man who will be missed by all who knew him. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Mrs. Cole,
I'm deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Marshall. I met him when I was just a little boy when my grandmother worked for him at the rug plant. Her name was Vester Johnson. Mr. Marshall was a great guy and I know that he will truely be missed. I will keep your family in my prayers.
