To the Allen Family, I understand that the word teaches that weeping may endure for a night, and joy comes in the morning. To lose is to gain. This side you only are here for awhile, however to live eternal life with Jesus is worth all the pain. May the sweet memories continue to stay with you now and forever even until you meet again. I will be praying for your strength and comfort, and we love you all!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.
