Eddie Barker Garren, Sr.
BELTON - Eddie Barker Garren, Sr., 68, of 124 Dewitt Lane died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of Mary Barker of Belton and the late Walter E. Garren. He was a member of Hoyt Lodge #322 of Belton and American Legion Post 21. He was also a US Air Force Veteran.
Surviving in addition to his mother are: sons, Eddie Barker Garren, Jr. and wife Tammy of Iva, Billy Garren of Dade City, FL; brothers, Roger Garren and wife Teresa, Fredrick Garren, Sr. and wife Sheila, and Tony Lee Garren and wife Mary all of Belton; sister, Joan Mauldin of Powdersville; 5 grandchildren, long time friend, Mildred LeCroy of Williamston.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Thursday at Cox Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate @ 1835 Rogers Rd. Anderson, SC 29621.
The family will be at the home of Roger Garren, 205 Oak Wood Dr. Belton.
