Enoch Rice Obituary
Belton - Enoch Blair Rice Jr. 70 husband of Page Cherry Rice, of Belton died Wednesday, February 24th at home.
He was born in Anderson County, to Marguerite (Punky) Mattison Rice and the late Enoch Blair (Fluffy) Rice Sr.
He was the CEO for Blair Mills in Belton SC and served as President for South Carolina Textile Manufacturers Association. He was appointed by Governor Carroll Campbell to the South Carolina State Development Board. He served as past President of the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce. He was an avid tennis player and had a love for music as he performed with the Band Quicksand and later performed with The Avengers.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 20 years are: his mother of Anderson; sons, Greg Rice (Steven Vance) of Waynesville, NC, Jonathan (Alexis) Rice of Simpsonville; 2 grandchildren Blake and Joseph Rice; his brother, Billy (Mary Anne) Rice of Lake Keowee; his sister, Rita (Ken) Rector of San Antonio, TX.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cox Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rice family.
