Hugh Luke Shealy, Sr., 64, husband of Sarah Cox Shealy, passed away suddenly Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Valdosta, GA.
Born on July 22, 1954 in Albany, GA, he was a son of the late Cecil and Ethel Lee Richardson Shealy. He was a loving and honorable husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a member of the Pelzer Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Hugh L. Shealy, Jr. (Edward) of Greenville and Buster Stover (Vickie) of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Cheyenne Hyde, Vance Hyde, Hoyt Stover, III and Heath Stover; brother, Ira Dean Shealy of South GA; two sisters, Marie Shealy and Mary Walker both of South GA.
He was predeceased by a sister and his beloved daughter, Mindy Shealy Hyde.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 26, at the Masonic Lodge in Pelzer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AFM Pelzer Lodge, Depot Rd., Pelzer, SC 29669.
