1SG Gilreath was one of the finest NCO's to serve in the Army.
His wisdom and leadership were and example to all. In battle he
displayed courage that inspired many to actions that saved lives.
One of these was my little brother. My family is of course grateful
and wishes the Gilreath family our deepest sympathy.

Jean....Your "My Larry" was one special soldier and a fine Southern gentleman. I know he had to be an equally good husband and father. The 50th Year Reunion in April was not the same without Larry Gilreath and family.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
