Louis Keys Obituary

LOUIS T. KEYS
WALHALLA, SC - Louis Thompson Keys, 83, of 503 South Church Street, Walhalla, SC, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Cottingham House in Seneca. Mr Keys was twice married, first to the late Maude Paramore Keys and secondly to Nettie Harvey Keys.
A native of Walhalla, Mr. Keys was the son of the late Joel P. and Theodosia Hughs Keys. He was a retired mechanical contracting teacher and owner of Keys Plumbing and Heating. Mr. Keys was a member of Walhalla Presbyterian Church and was a US Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a former member of Walhalla City Council, Walhalla Volunteer Fireman and long time member of Walhalla American Legion Post #124.
In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Keys is survived by daughter, Anna K. Davison and husband James of Walhalla; sister, Patricia K. Murray of Virginia; and grandchildren, Lauren and Zachary Davison.
In addition to his first wife and parents, Mr. Keys was predeceased by son, Michael Keys; and brothers, Joel Edwin Keys and Crawford Keys.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Graveside at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2009 at West View Cemetery.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Oconee Hospice of Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672 or the charity of one's choice.
