Ricky Ashley Obituary
HONEA PATH - Ricky Lee Ashley, 58, of 143 Saw Mill Rd. died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Herbert Clyde, Jr. and Margie Looney Ashley. He was a member of the Honea Path First Baptist Church and was employed by Keenan Advantage Group. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are four sons, Brandon Hardy of Niceville, Fl., Anthony Ashley of Belton, Dylan Ashley of Honea Path, and Rick Ashley of Belton; two daughters, April Murphy of Anderson and Jessica Jennings of Honea Path; two brothers, Tony Ashley of Saluda and Herbert C. Ashley, III of Honea Path; a sister, Jean Jones of Belton and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday at Honea Path First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 10 A.M. Saturday. The family is at the home. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com

Sorry to hear that Ricky has passed , he was a Great Guy to know and Fun to be around , I had many a laughs with him while in school , spent many of hours in sports with him , I will miss my Friend . Rest In Peace My Friend !! God Bless You !!

I am soo sorry to hear of Ricky's passing! He was always so kind to me when I was growing up with Jessica! Lil Rick and my daughter Haylie are growing up together now and I always ran into him and Michelle at the school! He was an awesome person with the brightest smile that could light up anyone's day! I know that he will truly be missed! God Bless you all!

We here at Kenan will really miss Ricky. He always had a smile and no complaints. He is in a better place but will truly be missed. Heaven has gained a GREAT angel!
