Dear John,

I am so sorry about the death of your mother. Even though I never met her, I feel like I knew her because of the many stories you have shared about your family. I'm sure she was a wonderful mother to you and your brothers. Only a great mother could raise a son with so many special attributes. Please know that I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
