RUBY MANLY April 27, 1925 - December 10, 2008 WILLIAMSTON- Ruby Boland Manly, 83, of 424 Philwood Drive, widow of Wilbur E. Manly, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at McLeod Medical Center. Born April 27, 1925 in Laurens, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Annie Eula Abercrombie Boland. She was a school teacher in Greenville County for 36 years and organist at Hopewell Baptist Church for 30 years. She was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Debbie Tindal and her husband, William of Bishopville; four grandchildren: William Burns Tindal, Jr., Jennifer Erin Tindal, Terri Ann Tindal, and Danielle Caroline Manly; sister, Sue Snipes and brother, Frank Boland both of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Manly; brother, John Earl Boland and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Boland. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Johnny McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45AM at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, 3205 Hwy 81 North, prior to the service. The family is at the home.
