Steve Hanks Obituary
Townville, SC
Steve Chilly Hanks, 59, of 107 Beaver Lane died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Betty Holtzclaw Hanks. He was a member of Belton Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are: sons, Steven Derrick Hanks and Jeffrey Brannon Hanks both of Belton; daughter, Angela Brittney Shaw of Honea Path; sister, Rhonda Ownbey of Belton; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Alexa Hanks and Alec Ruth; special friend, Kim Whitmire. Service will be held 3pm Sunday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Barden and Rev. Shane Elrod officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday from 12:45pm until 2:45pm at Cox Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Derrick Hanks, 27 Geer St. Belton.

Chilly,I will ALWAYS remember all the good times we had together thruout my life. Specially the beach trips we went on every year on vacation with the rest of the family (The Breakers) They were, and still are the times of my life Although we were cousins you were like a brother to me and Davy and I will always love you for that.I will never, ever forget you, You'll be in my heart, and mine FOREVER
