ANDERSON, SC-
Mrs. Willie Faye Elrod Bolt, 86, formerly of B Street, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Lila Doyle Nursing Home, Seneca.
Born in Hartwell, GA, she was a 1940 graduate of Girl's High School. She attended the Carolina School of Business and retired from the Singer Corporation. She was a member of Garner Memorial Baptist Church and the Forever Young Seniors.
She is survived by her son, Ben Bolt and his wife, Rachel of Pendleton; two grandchildren: Clay Bolt and Kelli Beebe; four great-grandsons: Adam, Noah, Ethan, and Houston; a sister, Bobbie Cobb of Anderson; a great-niece raised in the home, Alicia Van Brunt and her daughter, Alana.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Noah Ezekiel Elrod and Rosa Lee Temples Elrod; her husband, Ben O. Bolt; two brothers; and eight sisters.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12 pm Monday in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm Monday. A private family committal will follow.
