Charles Deese Obituary

Charles Hayward Deese

Charles Hayward Deese, 65, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021.

Charles was born in Wadesboro, and was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mildred Deese.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Connie; his sisters, Melvia Dalton (Olin), Pam Laury (Johnny), Lori Watts (Rick), and Brenda Hartsell (Jack); many nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur babies, Luke and Joey.

Charles owned and operated a home improvement business, and in his spare time enjoyed racing of any kind, especially NASCAR, woodworking, and reading.

The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, texts, calls, cards, and visits and would also like to thank the Levine Cancer Institute and everyone at Atrium Health Cabarrus that was so kind and took very good care of Charles while he was there.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Charles' name to The Gideons International at sendtheword.org and/or Young Memorial Baptist Church of Concord.

The family is holding a small, private family service.
