Claude Hurlocker Obituary
The son of Charlie and Nora Hurlocker, Claude grew up in Mt Pleasant NC and attended Mount Pleasant High School, where he met his future wife Joann Tucker. They later moved to Raleigh where they had two children, Alan and Cathy. Claude was awarded 8 patents during his tenure at ITT/Alcatel and was widely respected and loved by his coworkers there.
Claude was preceded in death by his wife Joann, his son Alan, and his daughter-in-law Pam. He is survived by his daughter Cathy and her husband Chris and three grandchildren: Rebecca, Andrew and Grace.
Services for Claude will be held on Wednesday November 5th at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest with a visitation at 12 p.m., funeral service at 1 p.m. followed by burial. Flowers may be sent to Brown Wynne Funeral Home at 1701 E Milbrook Rd in Raleigh. Memorial gifts may be made to the Wake Tech Foundation with the memo "Automotive Program Honoring Claude Hurlocker" at 9101 Fayetteville Rd, Montague Hall Suite 320 Raleigh NC 27603.
