Michael Lefler Obituary
January 3, 1966 - June 21, 2025
Michael K. Lefler, 59, of Concord, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, of natural causes.
He was born January 3, 1966, to the late Shirley Starnes Lefler. He was a graduate of South Rowan High School in China Grove NC. He was employed at Carolina Taxi where he will be missed by coworkers and clients alike.
Michael was known to many for his kind and gentle heart and his love and loyalty to friends and family. He was an amazing brother/uncle/son/grandson/nephew with the sweetest, mischievous smile. He faced good times and challenges in his life with the best sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing and being with friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Jerrell W. Lefler, his paternal grandparents John and Thelma Lefler, maternal grand parents James and Bessie Starnes, aunts and uncles, Carolyn Bringle, Nancy Holloway, Kenneth Starnes, James Starnes, Coy and Peggy Starnes, Jimmy Threadgill.
He is survived by his sister, Deborah Lefler Garver, niece Amber Olson, nephew Sean Garver, aunts and uncles Steve Lefler, Esther Threadgill and his long-time best friend Roy Junior Peavy.
The celebration of life service will be held Saturday June 28, at First Baptist of Enochville 2308 Davis St, Kannapolis NC in the fellowship half from 12-2.
In lieu of flowers, donations for final expenses accepted by Debbie Garver, 715 Candlewick Dr. Salisbury NC 28147 or to Mike's favorite charity, The American Lung Association.
Lady's funeral home in Kannapolis will be assisting the family with cremation services.

Ididnt know michael long but the amount of time that I was around him showed me that he was a man who loved to help others with the best demeanor not found in many people. I knew michael long enough to really miss him
