Sandra Singleton Obituary

KANNAPOLIS - Mrs. Sandra Gale Sullivan Singleton, 55, passed away unexpectedly while working at Wal-Mart Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011. A funeral service is scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Jan. 30, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 p.m. today, at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Singleton was born Jan. 21, 1956, in Mooresville. She was a daughter of the late Claude W. Sullivan and Helen L. Vanderburg Sullivan. She worked in the bakery at Wal-Mart in Kannapolis, and formerly worked at Fieldcrest-Cannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin O'Bryan Hall. Mrs. Singleton is survived by her husband, Clifford L. Singleton; daughter, Tracy Singleton Mikolay; son, Clayton "Leo" Singleton; brother, Kenneth Sullivan and wife, Donna, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sisters, Darlene Penley and husband, David, of Easley, S.C., and Betty Jo Sullivan, of Columbia, S.C.; and two grandchildren, Spencer Sechler and Casey Alexander Sechler.
