William Clifton "W.C." Dunlap

CONCORD - William Clifton "W.C." Dunlap, 88, of 2780 Tilley Road, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at his home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Cold Water Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ricky Kepley Jr. officiating. Burial will be at cold Water Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Dunlap was born Oct. 21, 1917, in Union County, the son of the late William Leondas Dunlap and the late Eunice (Coan) Dunlap. He was a self-employed concrete builder. Mr. Dunlap was also preceded in death by his wife, Ozell (Green) Dunlap; brothers, Howard Dunlap and Junior Dunlap; and sister, Loree Harwood. Survivors include his daughters, Iris Lee (Dunlap) King and Carolyn (Dunlap) Gray; brother, James Nevan Dunlap; and sister, Helen Talley; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
