April 13, 1942 - June 22, 2023
Zora Bernice Powers, 81 passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in Kannapolis, N.C. Zora was a caring member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was survived by her sons Danny Powers and Roger Powers, and daughter Nona Powers. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Powers and her son Kenneth Ronald Powers.
Zora enjoyed gardening and taking care of children, and was an active member of Genesis Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, N.C. The date will be released as soon as possible.
