Dan crosses my mind every so often. I remember his smile, how he always had time to chat a little and listen a whole lot. I still draw faith from his belief and know that someday I will see him again. I picture him greeting me with his quick wit and big smile. I know he still holds you, his family, in his arms. Though we can't see him, he is there encouraging each one of you. May God bless and keep you.

I worked with Dan at Community Options. The very first thing I noticed was his tattoo - John 3:16. It was the first Bible verse I memorized and have held dear my whole life. He was a big man, I don't mean in size, but in his heart, the love of his wife and children, caring about the clients he worked with, and had the most wonderful sense of humor. I have thought of him often over the years, and praying for his family.
One time I came to work, frustrated that so many cars were not using their turn signals. It happened that the majority of them were from PA. I asked him why PA drivers had a problem with turn signals, and without batting an eye, he said " must be out of turn signal fluid!" I cracked up laughing. It took away my frustration and when it would happen that would pop in my mind and so would Dan's smiling face. It is a standard joke in our family now and every time it's said I think of Dan. God bless you Dan. You made a huge difference in the world.

I had the pleasure to work with Dan for many years. He was always willing to help those he served with great compassion. Dan changed the world for the better with his kind ways and devotion to serve God's people. His legacy will live on in so many people's hearts and he will never be forgotten. Now he can be free of pain. I can't wait to see him in heaven. My prayers and blessings to Dan's family

I did not know Daniel personally but i heard his name often up until a few years ago when my mother passed away. My sister was a consumer of Community Options as well as other programs catering to developmentally challanged. During some of my sisters non-cooperative momentes, my mother would say to her " I am going to tell Dan Beesley if you dont do what you are supposed to do". My sister did not want to disappoint him and so she was quick to cooperate after hearing that "threat". Thats because she liked him a great deal and so did my mother. He was well thought of. I am so sorry for your loss.

Denise and family,
I am so very sorry to hear about Dan. I worked with him at Community Options. Dan had a great sense of humor, was dedicated, and compassionate to those he served - both the staff and individuals with intellectual disabilities. The world has lost an angel. I can not begin to imagine the loss you and your family feel, because the love he had for you was evident. He spoke of his family with love and pride, and you were his top priority. He served his Lord in all he did, never afraid to share his faith with others mostly through how he lived his life. He never was "preachy" he did not have to be, he lived what he believed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your children, and the rest of the family and his friends. May God bless and keep you, hold you in His hands until you see Dan again someday in heaven.
