Doris Hollister Obituary

Doris M. Hollister, 80, of Hallstead, went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 64 years, Arden Hollister.

She is also survived by four children, Pamela Stone, Michael and Barbara Hollister, Judy and Gary Dibble, and Denise and Philip Pricher; fifteen grandchildren; three brothers, Jay Ralston, Roger and Joyce Ralston, and Robert and Becky Ralston; a sister, Margaret and Angelo Lucarelli; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her companion dog, Coco.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Jill Goff, a grandson, Jared Goff, her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Ralston, and a brother, Eugene Ralston.

Doris enjoyed crafts, baking, especially fudge, arranging flowers, and collecting dolls. She owned and operated a florist shop. She loved her family dearly and cherished the times spent at family dinners and special occasions.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead.. Spring interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends called Tuesday at the funeral home.
