Our thoughts & prayers are with you. May God bless & sustain you & grant you strength, peace, grace, courage, serenity & a strong faith. One "glorious day"in God's timing we shall all join on that "Golden Shore", what a "Reunion" that will be!! God took another "Angel" Home!! Doug went ahead to prepare a place in that "Heavenly Mansion" where his loved ones will join him one day in God's timing & where he has been reunited with his loved ones gone before him. The spirit is eternal & Doug's spirit will remain with his loved ones in every bright, shining star & every beautiful, colorful rainbow & in the clouds & the sun & in all the guitar music that you hear & in all that you say & do. Doug will certainly be missed. He was a very caring & loving man & always witty, always ready with a joke to make everyone laugh!! He was so proud of his family!! Gin,you can be honored for the nearly 60 years that you spent together. That is an honor & a blessing!!
Matthew 10:30 says that every hair on our heads are numbered & Ecclesiastes 3 says that there is a time & a place & a reason & a season for everything under the Heavens & Ecclesiastes also says that there is a time to be born & a time to die & we are only loaned to this Earth for a time & we will be in Eternity forever.Doug enjoyed his time here on Earth & he is in his Eternal Home now & born again, for all his trials & tribulations are over & he has a new body now.AMEN!!
God bless, comfort & cherish you with all your precious memories to hold near & dear to your hearts!! We send our love!!

I wish I had the "perfect" words to say.... Doug was a man you could be proud to call husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He always had a smile and a glint in his eyes. He was an inspiration to all of us.
