Marsha Cottrell Obituary

Marsha Smith Cottrell, 69, of Jackson, died Sunday, May 7, 2023 at home after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, LeRoy "Skip" Cottrell.
Born January 9, 1954 in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth Giordano Kozloski.
Marsha will be fondly remembered for her flair as a fashionista and her love of shopping, especially with QVC. She had a golden heart and was always putting the needs of others first.
She is survived by two children: Ryan R. Smith of Beach Lake and Kayley Smith and husband, Christian Salas of Indian Trail, NC; four grandchildren: Mia Andrea Salas, Aurora, Annaleese and Elijah Smith; one brother: Wayne Kozloski of Lincoln Park, NJ; one nephew: Wayne Kozloski and wife, Mary of Port Jervis, NY; one great-nephew: Dillon Kozloski; two step-children: Kenneth Cottrell and wife, Vicki of Chadds Ford and Kimberly Gerrity and husband, Robert of Dalton; four step-grandchildren: Matthew and Jamison Gerrity, Hunter and Kendel Cottrell.
She was also preceded in death by her step-mother: Joan Kozloski; and her first husband: Richard H. Smith.
Viewing hours will be held Thursday from 6-9 p.m. from Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford. A Catholic blessing service will conducted at 6 p.m.
