Sadly, I just discovered Bob is no longer with us. We had some great conversations via email and phone from afar. His photo looks so much like Grandpa Smith. I'm so sorry, Pat and family.

Bob was a mentor for me at IBM. WE worked together and played some golf together. A true gentleman who I credit for getting my career started. From my memories of Bob, I know the family and friends are missing him greatly. Sympathies from my family to yours. So long old friend.

Pat, our deepest condolences to you and your family. You and Bob were made for each other and went together like "peas and carrots". I remember and cherish so many great memories of when the Newlon family got together even after, oh so many years. Take care, May God bless and keep you and your family.

It is hard to think of Heart Lake without Bob! Our always-cheerful next-door neighbor through the years. I picture Bob on the porch, in a boat, in the garage, fixing something, taking a walk, etc. It seems like whenever I was at the lake, Bob was there too! He added so much to the entire community and will be sorely missed. I remember Bob way back when I was in 5th grade, and we had a 4-way party-line telephone. I think the Robinson home was 2 shorts. I am very sorry for your loss, and home you can find comfort in knowing that he lived such a full life and touched so many along the way. Ian Horne, Uppsala, Sweden.
