Connie Keener Obituary

Connie Jean Keener, 56, of Hodges, died Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Charles Richard and the late Barbara Boswell Richard. She was employed by Cardinal Health and attended Harris United Methodist Church. Connie was a selfless person, who gave in many ways. Her final gift was to save numerous lives through the gift of her organs through donation.

Connie is survived by her husband, Brent Lenning, of the home; her father of Greenwood; her sons, Richard Hilley of Ware Shoals, Travis Hilley of Hodges and Brandon Hilley of Greenwood; her sisters, Lisa Moon (Oneal) of Ninety Six and Vicki Davis (Carl) of Simpsonville; her brother, John Richard of Hodges; and grandchildren, Ariel Hilley and Haley Hilley, both of the home, Dylan Hilley of Donalds and Kinsley White of Kite, GA.

A private family service will be held.

It is requested that memorials be made to Harris United Methodist Church, 501 Oakwood Drive, Greenwood, SC 29649.
